barbecued prawns, and steamed white snapper served in coconut sauce.
Central Market: The cheapest eats are found in the municipal market in the
center of town near the hotels and banks. Inexpensive Chinese and Muslim cafes

Somboon Restaurant: Ranong's most famous restaurant serves up a wide selection
of Thai and Western dishes as described on their English-language menu. Just

Khun Nunt: Don't let the simple surroundings and rudimentary furniture fool
you. Khun Nunt is regarded as perhaps the best restaurant in town and one of
the finest places in the province to try fried soft-shell crabs and grilled
venison during the hunting season Sept.-De cember. Open daily 0900-midnight.
